RE: Jersey Red Says Foreign Players Unlikely

At this point, I guess I'm equally happy with any
name they come up with...this draft seems to be so
deep in potential, and I have sufficient faith in
Wallace and Papile, to make me at ease with any name
they call. There's no Keyon Dooling or Jerome Moiso
whose name I dread hearing. If they say Pau Gobel,
I'll immediately believe all the "euro KG" reports.
If they say Joe Johnson, I'll start saying "move over
Lamar Odom." The only guy I would be less than thrilled
with is Brendan Haywood, and even he would be a huge value
added to the Celtics. Screw the journeymen. Let's add
some talent, baby! (I do have my doubts about the euro
guys, though -- Nowitzki is shining, so now every
chainsmoking beanpole in europe is being touted as the
next Dirk. But maybe this guy really is another Dirk.)

I've got lotto fever!

I believe Jersey Red knows quite a bit as he
talks with O'Brien and the other Pitino
appointees.
