Re: Yao Ming will enter draft...

I am not sure there is a sure thing in this draft. I like Griffin &
Richardson but have they shown anything a Mercer or Battie hadn't at this
point ?

I would really like to have Battier fall to us. He has great discipline and
comes to play every night. I am not sure their are any point worth taking
at 10 or 11 unless you feel Forte can handle it, so that lets us take a
chance on a Randolph or Cisse(if he looks good in workouts) and maybe gamble
on a Maddox, Cook or Bogans with the Utah pick

I still am not sure if we even have the spots to sign 3 draft picks plus a
good free agent so I still like the Walker and a pick for Bibby & Rahim
then take a Randolph, Cisse, with our other pick unless we think one of
these pints will be better and quicker than Bibby.

Here is a list of underclassmen who have declared. Just with these we should
have two solid picks at 10& 11

Rodney White (freshman, Charlotte, forward)
Keith Bogans (sophomore, Kentucky, guard)
Richard Jefferson (junior, Arizona, forward)
Gerald Wallace (freshman, Alabama, forward)

Tito Maddox (freshman, Fresno State, guard)
Sam Clancy (junior, Southern Cal, forward)
Jason Collins (sophomore, Stanford, center)
Omar Cook (freshman, St John's, guard)
Brandon Armstrong (junior, Pepperdine, guard)
Michael Bradley (junior, Villanova, forward-center)
