atlanta trade

I agree that the trade btween ATL and VAN really helps both teams.

Since as someone pointed out Atlanta is now stocked with Forwards and
without a point guard does anyone think that we might be able to work
something out for Nazr Mohammed in a sign-and-trade (i don't know
exactly how those things work) where Atlanta gets Kenny? I think
Mohammed is on the verge of having a breakout year and i think
Atlanta could be convinced -- say what you will about Kenny, but he
his a veteran point guard good for 15 points, 7 assists (and 0 fast
breaks) and i don't think Atlanta is going to be a fastbreak team w/
Kukoc & Rahim (both fine players, but more of the spot fast break (c.
86 celtics) variety). Throw in McCarty's expiring contract if you
have to.

next year:

Palacio
Pierce
Walker
Battie
Mohammed

Potapenko
E. Williams
R. Brown

What about trying to get Bibby? I really don't buy Bibby to
Washington b/c of that stuff with his dad, who is now an Asst. Coach
there i believe. Falk wouldn't let it happen.

Only 8 more hours!!!!!! I think we're going to do alright...the
trick for me is to evaluate how the C's do relative to what's
availble, not say "oh we coulda gotten Gasol or Curry". I'm curious
to add a few pieces and see what Obie can do with this team for a
full season.
