(fwd) Orlando Tragic screws 3 teams in 1 day

I got this from the houston newsgroup. This is what I would like to
see Wallace do onto Denver pick - getting something extra for not
taking or taking #11.

I just don't think we have the court time to developing 3 rookies (not
including Moiso) at the same time.

My idea is to exercised the #11 pick, trade it for a player + 2002
pick

just an idea.
cheers
kevin

The Orlando Tragic managed to screw Houston, Detroit and Vancouver all
in one day. The Tragic GM John Gabriel blackmailed Houston into giving
a concession in order for Orlando to exercise the option on the #18
pick and give it to Houston. The Tragic also blackmailed Detroit into
giving them a 1st round draft pick in exchange for waiting one second
after the June 1 midnight deadline. The Vancouver Grizzlies was
screwed the most and will have to give up a high draft pick to
Detroit.

Last year, the Tragic screwed Detroit and Toronto by tampering with
Grant Hill and Tracy McGrady. This year, they have screwed Detroit,
Vancouver and Houston so far. Now they are trying to screw Sacramento
and Toronto by tampering with Chris Webber and Antonio Davis. Read the

Magic Deal
MAGIC OBTAIN FUTURE CONDITIONAL FIRST-ROUND DRAFT PICK; MOVE UP IN NBA
DRAFT

Orlando, Fla. - Orlando Magic General Manager John Gabriel announced
two transactions on Saturday.

1) The Orlando Magic obtained a future conditional first-round draft
pick from Detroit for deferring its notification to Phoenix on whether
the Magic will accept the Suns' first-round draft pick this year (No.
18) or decline until next year.

2) After the notification deadline expired (3 a.m., June 2), Orlando
exercised its option to receive Phoenix's first-round 2001 draft pick
(No. 18) which is automatically conveyed from the Magic to the Houston
Rockets.

In return, Houston agreed to give its No. 22 first-round pick to
Orlando for the No. 23 pick in this year's NBA Draft.

Orlando will now select No. 15 and No. 22 in the upcoming NBA Draft
(June 27).
