These rookies had better be some of the smartest, most mature rookies
we've seen come through here in the last 20 years, because if they aren't,
the Celtics are just going to be a super-athletic, super-stupid team
which scores a lot of points and can't figure out why it isn't winning
games. Welcome to the new Denver Nuggets.

    This is a great point Jon. Unfortunately we have too much deadwood already under contract and with point guard and rebounding needs, there just isn't room for Stith and Griff.
    I agree, that without a major move, this coming season will be a losing one, or at best, just making the playoffs.
    The future of this team lies with Walker and Pierce and those draft picks. If we are not going to contend anyway, why not let the rookies play and add the smart veteran next season, when we might be ready to move up?
    Stith and Griffen (and Brown and Anderson the other "smart" veterans Pitino brought in)  have both proved to be very injury prone. Were some of Pitinos problems just bad luck? A little humility lesson for the author of "Success is a Choice?"
