I think that's the point. Palacio is a one trick pony, not a point guard. The real problem is not the amount of money, as Bird said, it's all relative, but what it means to the roster. Did anyone catch the quote in this AM's paper, that they might go with 14 signed players? I presume after gifting so much to Palacio, it's done.
Stith will probably not be signed, or to me, even worse, not signed and traded, to say Utah for Jaques Vaughn, who is a real point guard, or to any other team, for help at the point, or the other position of need, like rebounder/ post player/shot blocker.
