Can we swing with the Jazz?

Title: Can we swing with the Jazz?
As was easily predicted, because of the collective bargaining agreement and financial concerns, most of the free agents are returning to their home teams.
With the signing of David Robinson by San Antonio; Chriss Webber may be stuck back in Sacramento. Detroit, I beleive, is the only team that might interfere.
Eddie Robinson of Charlotte is reportedly close to signing with the Bulls. We'll see. Since the Bulls are under the cap, they are one of the few teams that can offer more than the exception.
The Celtics situation is narrow. They don't want to spend much more than half of the 4.5 million dollar exception. If they can sign Stith for this, I presume they will and then try to trade him, either now, or to a contender during the season, as we drafted players who we hope to take his minutes. Waiting on the trade could be dangerous, with his history of injuries.
If Utah has interest, and doesn't land Mitch Richmond, I presume we could get Jaques Vaughn, for about that money, in a sign and trade.
Jaques is an uptempo point guard, who might
be ready to showcase his skills. He played with Pierce at Kansas, a real plus.
What is uor point guard situation? Brown and Anderson are huge question marks. Both have spent way too much time on the injured list to be counted on. That leaves us Milt Palacio and the Antoinabee experiment.
In spite of the holler for some interior defense and rebounding, I feel more comfortable with our center troika than the point guard brigade.
Let's dance!
