that's another story. ;-)
When you consider the option of a failed
international organization "protecting" the world, it's better then throwing
more good money after bad. Of course the socialists have done such great
things to keep the world from imploding.

They are like a >public trust.
Without the owners there would be no pro
sports. National Trust? You advocate wealthy ownership losing money
to field a competitive team. To benefit a fan base that won't/can't
support the team?
That is fool hardy.
No offense Joe, but people who are supported by the
profits their company earns would find the concept of operating at a loss
insane. Only people living off the public dole or living off trust funds
could embrace an idea like that.
This is why term limits make the most sense.
Living at the public trough all their life makes politicians hungry
for more hard earned tax dollars from others. Better they have to work in
private sector part of their life.
I can not support these paychecks, regardless of
how much they pay in taxes, for playing a game. They are
entertainers. Fine. I'd rather pay them $1mm a year and let others
be able to take their kids to a game then have a teacher explain to his kids
that he can't afford to. It's not about paying teachers more, it's about
not over paying others.
