RE: Antoine needs new moves and more finesse

Hmmm. Ok so you're saying that the fact that antoine gets swatted alot
still makes him a scorer down low. I guess mugsy bogues would also be a
bonafide scorer on the low post too if he jacked up 40 shots a night from
down there and hit 10 of them. As for no power forward being able to
defend him down low, are you watching the same games as I am? Scrubs like
Alphonso Ellis and Austin Croshere have had numerous blocks on him. Not to
mention Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason. You say that antoine's ability
to score on the box is a matter of fact and then you later say that he's
inefficient scorer down there. Gee, doesn't that mean that he can't really
score in the box? And you say I don't know what I'm talking about.

>Sorry. I didn't mean to insult you, but you obviously don't know what
you're talking about. Antoine's ability to score on the box is a matter of
fact. He does get swatted a lot, but that doesn't change the reality of
it.
There's very few players league that can handle him one-on-one down
there, and almost no traditional power forwards. (converted centers like
Duncan and KG can handle him, but even they get scored on as much as
they stop him.) Antoine's not an efficient scorer down there because he
doesn't have any lift to speak of and can't finish above the rim. But he's
one of the premier low-post offensive players in the conference. Period.
