RE: Pitino vs. the players



I don't believe that half-assed anonymous anecdote.  It doesn't sound
like the way players talk, nor the kind of thing they would admit to
casually.  This doesn't ring true at all -- it's like in the famous letter
from
Virginia asking about Santa Claus, when she says, "all my little friends and
I...."

No way did anybody on the team say this.  Not that they didn't do it.  But
no way did they say it.  I doubt they did it, really.  I think they are
badly in need of a real coach.
