Excellent

Well, staying up late to see tonight's pleasantly surprising dominance of
the Blazers more than makes up for the late night Vancouver heartburn a few
nights ago.

Amazing what can happen when the refs don't have it in for you. Bonzi,
Augmon and others in early foul trouble trying to keep up with Pierce.
Walker with some en fuego trey shooting (7/12, I believe), though his 2-pt.
percentage was really bad; no doubt due in part to shot-blocker/changer
Rasheed Wallace.

Portland fought back to within 1 point with about 2 minutes to go, but some
great defense by the C's in those 2 minutes, along with a clutch shot by
Pierce (who'd had a tough night shooting), kept the Blazers in line.

It also seemed that early on, Portland didn't want to be serious about the
game. The C's ran up early leads of 7, 8, 9 points on them, but they were
unfazed. Apparently helped the refs make their decisions in the C's favor.
Whatever the reason, the Celts were in control for most of the game. Great,
great win for the team.

Maybe I'll get more sleep tonight...
