thoughts on Grizzlies loss
Here's my take on the game, and the last I have to say about it:
it was a really good game between two teams who both played
well. Forget about Vancouver's record; they have some talented
players, and they were looking to make a statement game. We
played them well, but they kept surging back, and out inability to
execute our way to two points in the final minutes hurt us. The D
was pretty good, but we took lousy shots. Hopefully that will
provide a wakeup call on offense. I thought we played great
defense until transition off bad shots killed us in the final two
minutes. We missed a bunch of layups in there, too any one of
which would have sufficed to win the game.
I'm going to take the luxury of not watching the Sonics game. I'll
just read the score in the morning. Let's get this L out of our
system and get on with life.
I'm still hoping for three wins out of this road trip. I had hoped this
would be one of them, but the Grizzlies play us tough. And for
some reason, this team tends to underperform against "lousy"
teams - though I don't think the Grizzlies are such a lousy team; I
would much rather have their roster than Atlanta, Washington, the
Clippers, the Nets, or some other poor teams.

Subject: Oh boy
C's lose a crock of game in the final minutes. The only thing worse
than the
refs was the C's shooting in the 4th. Bad, bad loss. Very bad tone
for the
rest of the trip. Here come the bashers and the Toine-haters...
