RE: latest win streak

I agree. And if the team does make the playoffs and "make some noise" to
the tune of a full 5 game series or better, I think you can then say they
are in the middle of the pack, with great upside...if Philly can be
considered one of the top teams in the league, then so can we...especially
if we can get a really talented young comer at point guard, someone of the
caliber of Mike Bibby or Derek Anderson or Travis Best. Which isn't that
hard to find. Signing Pierce is going to be big, though....

I agree with the "optimists" of the day. The Celtics really have a
chance
to do some good in the second half. With Antoine and Paul playing a

relaxed, fun game, they are very productive. Look at how many
triple
doubles or near triple double Antoine had leading up to the break.
I never
remember seeing a run like that under Pitino. The C's will inch up
to a 6-7
seed in the playoffs, by the time it is all said and done. We will
give
teams trouble in the playoffs, because we have not one, but two
superstars
who can legitimately score 40 points on any night. I'm not saying
we are
going to be world beaters, but the renewed spirit of the team is
invaluable.
At least half of the game is how good you truly think that you
are. The
Celtics "think" they can do damage, and with that attitude, they
can. If we
win 4 or 5 of the 7 game road trip, I could be underestimating their

performance. We could get the 5 seed in the playoffs. Celtic Pride
is
back, and there is no room for the naysayers on the bandwagon.
