Wasn't it multiple draft picks being exchanged to get Gasol?  I don't
remember trading Pierce as an option.

Tinsley and Gasol instead of JJ, KB and JF would have made us a better team,
by far, I believe.  Was even trading up a realistic option?  I have seen no
credible report that says it was an actual option that the brain trust
turned down.  If it wasn't even an option then this is a really, really dead
horse to be whipping.

In any case we have who we have.  I don't think there is any question Gasol
is a player. Let's see what the trading deadline brings.

In the mean time go to cnn/si web site and vote for Pierce as most deserving
of an all star position.  Currently Norwitski is winning.
