Celtic Christmas
Celtic-type presents this year (this all in fun, so just roll with it!!)
Jim O'Brien: an assistant coach who focuses on offense like Obie does on
Defense.
Antoine Walker: an ankle alarm that zaps him with an electric shock every
time he takes a bad three point shot when the low post is wide open and
there's plenty of time on the clock.
Paul Pierce: NBA All-Star Game, He surely earned it last year, and they owe
him even more than Walker.
Tony Battie & Vitaly Potapenko: some "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" for playing a position
that routinely takes them up against the biggest guys in the NBA.
Kenny Anderson: some recognition for becoming a solid point guard.
Tom Heinsohn: a tape of the Celtics game against Cleveland where Walker
went inside all night long. Come to think of it, Tom could also fill the
present request for O'Brien.... :>)
Way of the Ray: a copy of "The Little Engine That Could". Also, he's the
only one besides myself that I want to win the predictions because he's the
only one who predicted more wins than I did.
Josh Ozersky: a copy of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 5th Dimension" on DVD.
The guys who designed the All-Star voting procedure: The Chicago Political
Voter Award.
The Coaches and anyone else selecting players for the All Star Game:
documentation and tapes of Walker and Pierce from this year and the last
part of last season.
Red Auerbach: What else? Banner #17!!
Celtics Fans: Celtics/Lakers for all the marbles. Forget about MJ,
Sacremento, Iverson, whatever. We know how it should go and the only thing
lacking would be Johnny Most calling the game high above the parquet floor.
The Celtics list online: realtime game chat simulcast on Fox Sportsnet.
Me: that next year, my prediction for Celtics wins comes in the middle of
the pack instead of killing the curve.
And that's the Christmas wish list!!!
