BOSTON CELTICS ACTIVATE McCARTY
Team Places Brown On Injured List
BOSTON, MA - The Boston Celtics(http://www.nbateamnews.com/i.cfm?DID=140825&UID=1886643&MID=193708)announced today that they have activated Walter McCarty (http://www.nbateamnews.com/i.cfm?DID=140826&UID=1886643&MID=193708) from the Injured List. The team also announced that it placed Randy Brown(http://www.nbateamnews.com/i.cfm?DID=140827&UID=1886643&MID=193708)on the Injured List with a right adductor strain.
McCarty was placed on the Injured List on November 27th with a sprained left great toe and has missed Boston's last five games. McCarty has seen action in eight games this season, averaging 5.8 minutes per game.
Brown, who was activated on December 5th, played six minutes versus Denver that night. That was the first action he had seen this season, as he was originally placed on the Injured List on October 29th with a chronic right adductor strain. In addition, he missed the last six games of the 2000-01 season with a related injury.
