Defensive Specialist

We should hold tight to what we have unless a trade will bring us a
valuable piece of the puzzle or a considerable upgrade at center or point
guard. The key to the team will be the defensive specialist that was
hired during the off season. I think he is the same guy that coached the
"Bad Boys" defense with Chuck Daly.

I do not recall but one shot blocker on that team, John Sally a 6 "11"
Stringed. However, no one drove the lane on the pistons because of the
tough hard nose defense that they played in the paint. I think we again
will see a no layup rules in effect for the celtics.

With VP, Blount, and Battie we have 18 hard fouls to give. You do not
have to block shots if no one drives the lane. If the opponent expects a
hard foul, he will change his shot. I think we will be successful if we
can defend.
