Re: GREAT MOVE
yeah i'm shocked that more of us aren't ecstatic about getting (a) a
player with a pulse for Moiso and (b) a #1 pick for him (however low
it is). Moiso made Acie Earl look like Robert Parrish. if Pitino
doesn't take Moiso at 10 does he get drafted in the 1st round? the
only thing that worries me is that larry Brown want's him (although
that Hill/JJones for Traylor/Harpring/Henderson trade is weird --
who's their PF, Tractor?).
The draft with so many HS kids and early entries i think will
continue to have players ready to step in later in the draft. think
of the players (Omar Cook, Loren Woods, Tony Parker, Jamaal Tinsley,
etc.) that we could have grabbed this year with Philly's #1. And the
new Luxury tax rules make having cheap players locked in for several
years valuable for their contracts too when trying to build a team.
AND...
we get Mcleod. is he an all star? no, but looking at his numbers as
the starting SF for the Hawks before being traded to the Sixers leads
me to believe he's a fine role player
(http://www.nba.com/playerfile/roshown_mcleod/game_by_game_stats.html?nav=TextNavBar).
And against the C's last year he had 21 pts, 5 reb and 2 asst in 33
mins (ATL won 92-81). More evidence that we should trade Antoine for
Matt Geiger (ha, ha, i'm just kidding).
From everything else i've seen he's a good kid, and if he's a Dukie,
he's probably a hard worker.
AND...
His son's name is Snothy. I mean, come on, SNOTHY!!!!!!
