Keep in mind that, regardless of what you may think of Pitino, he tried to
acquire Jermaine O'Neal and Alvin Williams.  I remember that much of the
sentiment at the time was "Alvin who?"  But if you have seen both of those
guys play this year, I think it's a foregone conclusion that they would have
made an enormous improvement on our team this past season.

Say what you want about Pitino, his ego, how much he screamed from the
sidelines, etc. but he had those two as much better players than many of us
thought.
