RE: Nightmare Real GM Draft Scenario

I respectfully disagree, Ray. Joe Forte is a combo guard
without a strong body a la Billups. There will always be
a place for a true point guard, although I agree this is a too
high to take Tinsley. Battier is exactly the player the Celts
need, and although he may have limited upside, he will make
an impact right away, especially on a team like the Cs, which
desperately need a guy who can make open shots and move
the ball around and make plays on defense. The beauty of
having two picks is that you can take Battier and then with
the other pick take the White/Grizzard/Woods guy with upside.
I would have to say that my ideal draft is either Battier or
Troy Murphy with one pick, and then the best available talent
with the other -- Zach Randolph or Dasagna Diop or whoever.
With the third pick, if we use it, we can get a fine player like
Tinsley or Mike Bradley or whoever.
