Agreed with much of your post, um, Anonymous, but, if I remember
correctly, in one of the "Point Guard Experiment Games", Palacio and
Herren combined for 40 minutes, leaving just 8 minutes out of the 44 or
so that Walker played at the point guard position. The ratio of minutes
in other games were similar. That's part of why I feel the "Walker at
PG" thing is gimmicky. Walker's really not playing significant minutes
at the position. Maybe they are thinking of him as a 20-30 minute/game
point guard, but this solution is a bit too much like a Solomon's
decision for me -- split the baby in two. Reminds me of when More
Losses played Walker at all five positions in his rookie year and then
just paraded it around: "Look! He's like Magic Johnson! Ain't it
great?" Antoine is versatile, yes, we know. Pick a position (or two,
part-time, if he feels up to it) for him to play, already. Sheesh.

On the other hand, maybe if Antoine improves his ballhandling skills
over the summer, he can play small forward in my "hoping against hope,
wishing on a star" ideal lineup.
