The Lakers have said they won't pay the luxury tax either.  It is a dollar
for dollar tax.  An extra $10-20 Millian will make most pause.

Two A players  (Max contract)
Two B players
8 other players will win.

The key is who your A players are.  This is what the question about Walker
is about.  Is he an A or B?  If he isn't an A you need to move him based on
his cap hit.
