Re: Pierce and Antoine

I don't think the Celtics would be dumb enough to trade
either Pierce or Antoine and don't think they should.
You still have to realize we still can only
win in 36-37 games, have a longer playoff drought than the Clippers, and maybe
the brass agree with a few former Celtics that AW is not the person to build a
franchise around? With his BYC status gone we will certainly find
out.
If AW does go to work in the off season and stay in
shape and improve his ball handling skills it could be interesting, but he has
not done this in the past.
If we do go with AW at point look for us to take a
good look at Randolph, Rodney White, Diop, Heywood, Forte, maybe an
Arenas, Jefferson, or a Ken Johnson ?

Subject: Pierce and Antoine
I don't think the Celtics would be dumb enough to
trade either Pierce or Antoine and don't think they should. They are the
building blocks around whom the team should be built. And why on earth
would anyone want Christian Laettner? I think he has an ego about the
size of Pitino's - well, almost. He would not be good for the chemistry
of the Celtics. Just my opinion.
Also, Pitino is no longer part of the Celtics,
thankfully, so who the heck cares what he's doing? If you want to know,
you can find out on ESPN's site or something. Can we try to forget about
him? Thanks!
