    Scary. What amazes me is that anyone would be drunk/stoned/jealous/angry
enough to go after a group of guys as big as Paul and the two Batties. Armed with
pool sticks, that trio could probably thwack you upside the head from across the
room, because they  have so much extra reach. I really want to hear more details
(especially on Pierce's condition). It's hard to believe Pierce could provoke that
kind of anger from someone. Eleven stab wounds. Just the thought of it actually
turns my stomach. He's 22 and he's lucky to be alive. Inches from another terrible
tragedy.
