BOSTON, MA - The Boston Celtics announced today they have waived guard Michael Jordan.

Jordan, signed as a free agent on October 2, 2000, appeared in three preseason contests for the Celtics, averaging 2.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 16.3 minutes of action.
