Re: who does this remind you of?

I think I know where you're going here, Josh, and it's a reach. The
difference between Isiah/Jordan and a guy like Toine is Isiah and Jordan
worked hard to be great and were great individually before they finally
figured out the team part. Toine hasn't worked hard yet, hasn't achieved
individual greatness yet, and certainly isn't the talent that those guys
were.

Maybe a light will go off, but it clearly won't be this season. As everyone
has pointed out, he's woefully out of shape again (maybe that had something
to do with the terrible second half last night), and he's showing all the
signs of being the same old exasperating Toine.

But I'm going to wait out the season. His BYC comes off at the end of the
season, and if he hasn't gotten it by then--after five years in the
league--he's out of here. He'll fetch either a fine talent or a great draft
pick. Hopefully it won't come to that; hopefully we'll see a new player
emerge this season. Like I said, I'm going to wait and see.

P.S. I'm also anxious to hear some reports on Moiso from last night. I only
saw part of the game, and none of his court time. If Dan's right and Moiso
and Walker are playing together at the forward spots, that's a good sign.
Certainly sounded like the rook held his own.
