to hear
But
don't you think they've been hearing it from Pitino, Josh? Why would Heinsohn
make a difference? What does that say about these players?
Pitino has been saying it, just like he's been saying
the team needs to push the ball on offense and reverse the ball in the
halfcourt. Just like he's been saying they need to clamp down in their
man-to-man. He says it, he coaches it, he teaches it... and the team's two
best players don't listen. You hear guys like Stith and Herren say they have
learned more about basketball in two months with Pitino than at any point in
their careers... you hear Mark Jackson say the same thing, that Pitino was the
best coach he ever played for... and yet the team's two best players seem to
think they don't need to listen.
I am sure Pitino has pointed out and it hasn't
worked but now hearing it from a different voice one that is heard by the fans
watching the game constantly through out the course of the game might get Paul
to realize just how much he really does it.
