The 76ers, led by all-world Allen Iverson, put on a shellacking on the C’s.
The problem as I see it is that certain Celtics players, who fancy themselves as
all-stars, played like anything but and didn’t even bother to get back on
defense, which in my mind (not Pitino’s shill??) means they quit.
If this team is going to have any chance of making the playoffs they better
shape up and soon or this thing could get very ugly.
As for Pitino, he’s my friend and I want him to succeed but remember I
never wanted him to leave college in the first place and in particular come to
this town. Win or lose, at the end of the season my advice to him will be to go
back to where he can have some fun. I tell him this several times a week."
