Boston: A Miami Trade Partner?

That's what Barry Jackson in today's Miami Herald says would make sense
(maybe from a Miami perspective), and it's in reference to the
infamous Mashburn and Brown for Walker trade. He also says Kenny
Anderson can be acquired in a deal.

TRADE MASH
OR BROWN?

Riley in past years refused to trade Brown for Latrell Sprewell, Mitch
Richmond and others. He couldn't get equal value in return for Mashburn
last summer, but his value has been raised by the best season of his
Heat tenure.

Although the Heat would prefer to deal Strickland or Lenard, it will
probably require trading Brown or Mashburn to command a solid starting
player in return.

Boston would make sense as a trade partner. Riley is thought to be
intrigued by highly skilled but immature Celtics forward Antoine Walker,
who averaged 20.5 points and 8.0 rebounds but has had an up-and-down
relationship with coach Rick Pitino. Meanwhile, Pitino tried to acquire
Brown last summer (for Ron Mercer) and has great appreciation for
Mashburn, his former player at Kentucky.
