I believe you guys are really, really off the mark in your assesment of
Dikembe Mutumbo.
The guy is a truly dominating shot blocker and rebounder; no one in the
league, including
Shaq and Tim Duncan, outclasses him in these areas.  Put him at center, with
Walker and 
Pierce in the mix, and pitinoball is alive and well.  Or just call it
uptempo, fast break basketball.
It's the same style the Celtics won 13 of the their 16 championships with in
any case.  How many
games that we lost by close margins would have been that close with Mutumbo
in the pivot?  I
would advocate trading everything but Walker, Pierce, and Denver's pick next
year for Dikembe.  
I would include a hefty
sum of cash in there as well.  This is an opportunity that doesn't come
along every day.
