Re: What are our needs?...

hello,joe! nice posts and info.

wow, how'd i miss out terrence morris? he's a sure nba talent with good leadership quality. but the question is his aggressiveness, that he lacks it despite being the main man of maryland now that steve francis is gone. but overall, he'd be a safe pick by whoever gets him if he enters the draft.

i just finished watching iowa st vs michigan st(great game), i became more interested on mo-pete of mich st.
becoz he's really a smooth player and a great shooter.
also, watchin the game made me think mateen cleeves is an overrated pg. he may have the built but he's still short and soft and really isn't a good shooter. iowa st's pg jamaal tinsley is much better overall despite being a sophomore(?) only.

marcus fizer is quite a specimen, i'm surprised despite his very big frame, this guy has soft touch that can hit 18-20ft away from the basket and has quick lateral movements...unlike fortson.
he's really like a corliss wlliamson with fortson-like body and rebounding skills.

some more players worth lookin at:
1.kevin freeman(connecticut)- good shooter/defender on either the 2 or 3 position.
2.Vershaw(wisconsin )- all around offensive/defensive player. good leader-type of a player
3.micael redd(ohio st)- refer to kev freeman

if i were too choose now and we have a number 10 or 11 or 12, i'd definitely choose marcus fizer, that would certainly bring in the cosistent offensive help we are looking for inside the paint
that battie couldn't supply. if fizer is already taken, morris peterson is the safest pick we could get to have that scoring 6th man with good defensive abilities we also sorely need.
(again, a position cheaney and e.williams couldn't consistently give)
well, these are just my opinions.

hey joe and others, if you're in the 10 or 12 lottery pick position, who'd you take?

nice to hear from you again, joe! see you around too!
