Just caught a brief clip of Pierce being interviewed prior to a game against
the Grizzlies.  I apologize for missing part of the segment, but what little
I heard was:

Q - What about the C's this year?
A - They believe they can make the playoffs and that's their goal.  Everyone
is working real hard to make it there.
Q - Was he still driven by the fact that he was drafted so late?
A - No, he's pretty much put that behind him though he's sure that some
coaches would make a different selection now.  He did make a concerted
effort to prove they made a mistake last year though.
Q - What has the Mercer trade meant to him?
A - PP said that Ron was a real good talent and a good scorer, but the trade
has allowed him to open up his game a bit more and show more of what he can
do to help the team win.
