Re: Playoffs?????



I just do not believe in having players NOT play to win.  You call it
tanking.  There is nothing positive to come out of that unless you consider
asking players to play less than they are capable of, some kind of plus.

You are advocating that they miss the playoffs, if all they are going to do
is finish in 8th.  You would prefer that they get a draft pick.  How are the
players supposed to feel?  "Sorry Toine, but we want you to brick 6-7 free
throws and chuck up 10 threes."

That's not what I want to see.  My claim to fame?  Do you mean as a coach?
Nothing less than 100% here buddy.  Have won my share of championships as a
coach at the university level, including a Canadian University National
Championship.  That's why I advocate patience all the time.  How bout you?
