Finally a Celtics player has a triple double.

WELL DONE ANTOINE

You still want to trade him for 'Reef?

I thought not.

Well actually...

As I said in my earlier post, I have always liked Walker and there are
few players for whom I would trade him. If I thought we would get 1-2
triple doubles a year from AW and 20+/10+ at least 75% of his games, I'd
say don't trade him even for Shareef.

Generally speaking, though, I am inclined to take empirics over time
over a single instance and wishes for the future.

In their respective time in the league, I believe Shareef has proven to
be the superior player in MANY respects. Even if I agreed AW had the
POTENTIAL to be the superior player, there is too little evidence in his
3.5 years in the league to suggest he will realize this potential to a
degree sufficient to place him above Shareef and what Abdur-Rahim has
already proven he can do. Remember, I had the displeasure of seeing him
rip apart my Ducks (not too tough) and the rest of the Pac-10 (a little
harder) as a freshman. The guy is awesome.

It is obviously a moot point if the numbers make the trade a logical
impossibility. Way to go Antoine! Way to go C's!
