Pitino: Van Horn trade "rumour rubbish"

I went to the Celtic's season ticket holder BQ this afternoon. This is an
annual event to help placate us poor bastards  who have to anti up in the
summer for our tickets in the fall.  It is held at Healthpoint in Waltham
where the Celtics have their practice facility. It's a state of the art
building and the Celtic's part of the complex is first class. Walker was
there. He looks lean and stronger as the reports have pointed out. Russell
was there too. He walked the grounds outside and worked the crowd. He had a
big smile on his face and looked like he was really enjoying himself.
Cousy, Jo Jo White, Walter, Walker, Coach Pitino, all signed my Boston
Celtics 50 years book.  Pitino and Wallace were holding court for the fans
who were tossing out questions. The Van Horn for employee #8 came up and
Pitino said it just "rumor rubbish" and it wouldn't happen. Wallace chimed
in that the only way such a trade could happen under the present salary cap
restrictions is if it were an eight player swap and he didn't see any way
that would happen.
