Cavs shying away from Iakovos Tsakalidis
I got this from Draftsource.net
What do you think? Is he worth the risk? I don't think so,
atleast not at 11.

>>>>According to the Lorain Mourning Journal, the Cavs are cooling
off on Iakovos Tsakalidis due to fears that his current contract
cannot be bought out:
'Cavs general manager Jim Paxson said Tsakalidis' contract situation
with AEK Athens in Greece would likely cause the Cavs to shy
away from him in the June 28 draft.
The 7-foot-2, 265-pounder is contractually obligated to his team
in Greece for four more years.
''FIBA initially denied clearance of it,'' Paxson said yesterday
at the Chicago pre-draft camp at Moody Bible Institute. ''That's
a pretty big hurdle. He's locked into his contract. It's a pretty
big risk.'' '
