Possible Good News-Nets lose appeal

The Nets appeal for injury exceptions because of Jason Williams and Kerry Kittles injuries have been rejected by the NBA. As a result, they won't have the $3.8 million to spend on Ron Mrecer. This possibly raises the chances of Mercer signing with the C's. (by the same token, Eddie Jones not going to Chicago may cause the Bulls to spend more to get a player like Mercer). Stay tuned...
