    The relevant question is do Denver fans and writers really even care about
the Nougats? :-) Clearly if there is a first round draft pick involved as
reported, it will have to come from Boston (since the only other asset we are
giving up is Barros).

    Would Tariq be worth giving back a 2001 first rounder for? This could turn
out a lot worse for us than Potapenko-for-Andre-Miller.

    Probably for Pitino this trade is the no-brainer-of-the-year (since next
season is make-or-break for him), but I'm also not sure Denver writers will
complain quite as much as you think. Basically they are losing Keon Clark and an
unhappy free agent (Tariq) in exchange for Derek Anderson and a first round
(likely lotto) pick. Not bad. It is the Clippers, as usual, who end up getting
some suspect players out of the deal.
