Summing Up The Celtic Trade Reports

- The Clippers could back out of the 3 team deal, because
of financial reasons, or a disagreement over personnel.
One never knows what Donald T and the Clippers are thinking.
Boston and Denver, on the other hand, have apparently
agreed on the principles in the trade.

- Gaston will have to give Pitino the okay to pay Wahad the $4
  million or so per year that he wants.

- C's will be giving up a first round pick to the Nuggets, but possibly
not from next year, or perhaps, smartly this time, with lottery
protection
of some sort.

- It looks like D. Anderson would go to Denver.  An extra $3.5
million per year makes a big difference.

- A sign and trade with Fortson is still a possibility.  And Orlando
has a bunch of draft choices and trade exceptions.

- The more Chicago strikes out on signing quality free agents,
the stronger the possibility of their interest in a trade for Toine.

- How ironic would it be, if Mercer and Walker end up together
again, only with the Bulls?

- There may be other Celtic trade possibilities.

- And does anyone believe what Pitino said about his
conversation with Mercer?  Something cryptic there....
