Orlando don't have to lose Wallace

Dave Alessandro's article

Like many teams, the Magic misjudged the highest
possible first-year salary for free agents such as
McGrady and Grant Hill -- it's $9.5million, and not $9
million. So they found themselves a half-mil shy of
being able to give Hill and T-Mac the requisite
jump-off point, and in order to make it to $19 million
under the cap by August 1, they were likely to renounce
Ben Wallace. . . .

you know, if Grant Hill and T-Mac are about winning,
then they would take
less than the 9.5mil, so that Magic can have space to
sign valuable teamates(Wallace). I think
Hill can afford it as his endorsements are probably
more than his salary.

I remember our time with signing AW - it was "sign me
this summer or I'm gone"!

thanks for listening.
