If Fortson did turn down this deal, then he does want his cake and eat it, too.  We should be reasonable with Danny, but we should also stand firm.  We have the Denver pick.  Danny knows he cannot get big bucks anywhere else.  I don't mind letting him leave.  A bench player is not worth the headache; we have work to do this summer.  Childs no longer averages a double-double, and Danny expects our brass to waste time pleasing him for this trade?  Let's also not talk about Derek Fisher.  He would not make our club better.  Anderson is better than Fisher, easily.  Believe me on that.  I also don't want to help the Lakers with their problem at power forward.  They can go somewhere else.
