I did an initial comment on Sptguy's column but I needed time to soak. I 
don't think we will get anything done with the Bulls. They have no need to 
trade anything to get decent players. So unless Krause really falls in love 
with Walker, we won't get anything done with them. Krause is to stingy...I 
think Detroit is a real possibility. I think Rose will resign with the 
Pacers. That leaves only Mo Taylor as the only legitimate contender for the 
Pistons affections. However, I just don't think he has enough flair to 
attempt to make up for the loss of Hill. Dumars has to do better. However, no 
one else will want to play for a team that is definitely going to go down. 
They either have to blow it up and start over or take a chance that Walker 
can play to his potential. I personally would be satisfied with J. Williams 
and a no. 1 for Walker. I believe the money works: they are down 6 million 
and lose 3 million or so on Williams so they can take Walker's 10 million and 
we only take back the 3 million. Williams could really be an animal in the 
monkey outbreak defense. We then have the money to sign Croshere. Croshere 
reminds me of Bobby Jones. None of these guys give us the shotblocking, 
rebounder types that is our need in a half court set. However, maybe we can 
now play Battie and Moise at the 4 spot with Walker gone. I mean, this team 
could run all day! Now if Kenny would just pass the ball <g>....The Clips may 
still be an option, though the Sptguy ruled it out. Walker could make that 
team legitimate. However, Sterling is probably just looking at the bottom 
line and how cheap he can pay the players....I wonder if the Spurs are an 
option if Duncan left. They would have room....I think only Eddie Jones other 
than the lower fodder will sign with the Bulls. The only thing they got is a 
bunch of rookies, even with the Jermaine version of the O'Neil. We have had a 
lot of experience of how rookies get schooled in the NBA....Would we actually 
sign Mercer back? I think Shooting-our-Wahad would be more likely <g>...
