Re: I Like BSG's Chicago Trade The Best

In response to your biased/slanted comments, my own biases exude with
the
following facts:

- All draftees are unproven, so you have to project what you think
the player will be like in the pros. This Crawford guy seems to
be in the Jalen Rose, a little bit of everything at several
different positions mode. Should he accede to that level, his value
alone
is equal to or greater than Walker's.

- Mecrer may be 1 d, but he gives you 17 - 19 points a game. Nothing
wrong with
that.

- Croshere is sort of the flavor of the month, but in a nice coconut
cream
kind of flavor.

- Fortson came on at the end of last season -- when finally given
minutes -- in both rebounding and scoring, prompting even an unbiased
cur like Jackie O'MacMullan
to say they have to keep him.

And in a note to Joe Hironaka: I think a post-Walker Celtics team,
wouldn't be as pathetic as you think, if they made the Chicago deal.
The Detroit trade for a draft choice and J. Williams, you probably be
right.
But the Bulls deal, and say they added Crawford, Croshere and Mercer to
go with
Pierce and Anderson. There would be some offense. Likely a lottery team,
but you can say the same thing about the present Walker edition of the
club.

PS: And maybe Moesha will actually turn out to be non-Battie.
