As often as I've supported Walker because, what the hell, the kid can play,
it's also obvious that someone needs to get him into a weightroom. The
really sad part is that he seemingly has no idea how relatively easy it
would be for him to shed some flab and replace it with that rippling stuff
that some of us kissed goodbye a long time ago. He's 23! He's a world-class
athlete! This isn't that hard! One day he'll know the pain of having a body
that doesn't respond as quickly, a body full of cells that aren't dividing
anymore...decrepitude setting in...and all those millions he's invested
won't.....Ahhhh screw it! Have another burger Antoine!

Someone on this list proposed, a while ago, that if you can't find minutes
for Fortson because Antoine can't play the 3, then Walker has to go! I let
this one pass because I assumed it was a moment of insanity that would
pass. An argument can be made that Walker should be traded, but not because
you want Danny Fortson to take his minutes at PF. Antoine Walker in a
burger induced coma is more valuable to the success of this team than Danny
Fortson on his best night. If you trade Antoine you still have the problem
of getting rid of Danny, because as I've said before referring to players
like McCarty, Battie, and now Williams, if he's sitting there on the bench
Pitino might be tempted to actually play him. And the goal is to make sure
none of the many stiffs ever see the court in a Celtics uniform.

The end of the "Adrian Griffin Era" is near. His lack of an offensive game
is starting to hurt the team. It was a nice story, but there's a reason the
guy was in the CBA, and were getting a look at it now.
