Ruler Rick To Be Soon Deposed?

That's the feeling of Glen Ordway, who said once again, that there is a
schism
between the man Kenny Anderson calls: "Rick the Ruler" and Paul Gaston.
Ordway maintains that Gaston -- who Glen applauds for being a
hands-off owner -- is about to become a little more touchy-feely after
the season and perform a little Regicide on Imperius Rick. For those of
you who scoff at the idea, because of the length and breadth of Ick's
contract, take heed, as there is an out-clause in the deal. Jackie
MacMullan has mentioned its existence, as did Bulpett in today's Herald.

So whom replaces Evil Duce?

I think, they may decide out of frugality's sake and the fact that he
does have
some respect among his peers and the media, to keep Chris Wallace on as
the
GM. Gaston may figure, away from Pitino, Wallace will have a chance to
cheaply blossom.

The man in exile could reappear.

That's right, M.L. Carr could be heading back to the Celtics as the GM.
He's still part of the organization, just away from the scene, thanks to
Pitino.
But the important part is that he's still around...

Or, the rumors of the C's checking around the NBA for managerial types
will
be proven true, and they'll hire someone out of the organization.
