Re. How about Glen Rice?

Forget about whether or not he would accept being the third option or coming
off the bench. Fortson for Rice? Jerry West would laugh Wallace and Pitino
out of the room. They're talking about a Rice for Hughes/Geiger deal with
Philly. Fortson wouldn't be enough to land either of those players from the
Sixers. We're all SERIOUSLY over-valuing Danny Fortson right now.

A few names I'll throw out, as long as we're talking about possible Fortson
trades:

Kandi Man (we'd have to throw in something else - Battie?)
Derek Anderson (another free agent, but a better fit for us. A Pitino fave)
Steve Nash (they were desperate for rebounding help before signing Rodman.
Now they might not bite)
Derek Fisher (if the Lakers exhaust all other options in search of a big
man. Not real attractive from our end)
Tractor Traylor (the Bucks are shopping him. Wallace loved him coming out of
Michigan. He's under contract cheap for a couple more years, so he brings
affordable potential)
Danny Manning (another guy on the market. Would be a great addition to the
bench.)
Matt Harpring (Orlando continues to clear cap room. Would be a nice pickup
for the bench)
Pat Garrity (see Harpring)

Just a few thoughts. Any other suggestions?
