I disagree with D'Allesandro's article and e-mailed him this response. If he

I think you're wrong about Walker. Remember, he is 23 years old and still
maturing. From my observations, he has shown a willingness to do what Pitino
has asked. Earlier in the season he had the duty of playing small forward
when he really is a power forward. When he moved back to power forward, his
game improved. He may make bad judgments as far as shot selection is
concerned and also shoots a lot, but I never had the impression that he is
selfish. I believes that he feels he's doing what is necessary to win.
Besides, he has never shown that he is unwilling to share the spotlight with
Pierce. He even acknowledged Pierce as "our best player".
