RE: Bogus trade rumors, Orlando-Denver trade

A couple thoughts from Alex's nice post:

Won't it be interesting to have Mr. Mercer coming to Boston as often as he will, with a division rival?  Giving him so many more chances to enjoy the friendly Beantown fans.  

Alex notes the possibility of maybe RM taking a small deal for one year to allow Orlando to sign more big $$$ FA's.  When has RM ever given a shred of hint that he had an altruistic bone in his body in the area of being a key team player.  Not to incite, but he wants the max, this fact driving him out of Boston and Denver, where he was thriving for the most part.

Alex mentions wanting the max for big $$$ FA's this summer.  Other than Duncan can someone (W?) summarize the expected FA's for 2000, especially those that are big names, or could help the C's, not that we got much to spend if any?
