Why trade now?

Why would we want Pitino to trade anybody now?

Unless it is a "no brainer" for a "currently established all star guy" or a
"pretty darn certain to be an all star" leave it alone.

With the PG problems we've had this year and, IMO, the proof that this
"system" of Pitino's doesn't play in the NBA, I'd stand pat.

Let these guys play this year with a different coach or an NBA style system
and see what happens at draft time.

The best PG in the draft could go 10th or lower.

I'm not talking about tanking the season, just let's not shoot our self in
the foot.

At draft time the deals will be better as these guys coming out turn into
Hall Of Famers before they dribble the ball in a NBA game.

Remember what happened last year? All of a sudden the weakest draft in
history took on a different spin when it came time to choose.

What will it be like this year? What teams will be willing to restructure
at the last minute?

I would just hold on and play everyone on the roster and see what happens.

A different coach can make a difference, another season of experience can
make a difference.

The Celtics are not going to win it all this year. Swapping Bibby for
Pierce or Walker is not going to change that.

This draft may, someday.
