RE: [Celtic_Pride] The Truth about Cats and Pitinos



I see mark's point, but there are several teams that flounder
for a few years and then get better relatively quickly.  The Lakers
struggled for several years before breaking through, as did the Sixers
and the Mavs, and probably a few other teams that I can't think of
at the moment.  What I remember is that for us to get our 37 wins
last year we needed to really disintergrate -- losing ten in a row, losing
at home to Chicago, etc.  I feel like if this team can keep its head above
water and stay at or near the .500 mark (not as hard as it sounds if we
keep playing solid ball on the road and pick up wins against weaker teams.
I really believe that if this team could get four or five wins in a row,
they would
be mentally in a much better position to execute, communicate on D, and
bounce
back from missed shots/missed defensive assignments.  They still don't
really
believe in themselves, and we don't either.  but that can change.
